Poker Franca

I like playing poker games, such as Texas Hold ‘em, Omaha, Stud card and so on. As a matter of fact, I just know something regarding these poker games on superficial level. Up to now, I do not dig them into a higher level.

The other day, when I surfed on internet, I happened to find some poker terms, which I called them poker franca, because they are fitful to any type of poker games.

Followings are some poker terms:

Backdoor: Catching both the turn and river card to make a drawing hand
Bad Beat: To have a hand that is a large underdog beat a heavily favored hand.
Bottom Pair: A pair with the lowest card on the flop.
Bubble: 1. The point which only one poker player must bust out before all others win some money
2. The person who was unfortunate enough to finish in that position.

Cold call: To call more than one bet in a single action
Counterfeit: To make hand less valuable because of board cards that duplicate it.

Draw Dead: Trying to make a hand that, even if made, will not win the pot. If you are drawing to make a flush and your opponent already has a full house. You are drawing dead.
Leak: A weakness in your game that causes you to win less money than you would otherwise.

To be continued….

Hello,

The PokerStop.Com is a new Web site about Poker games. We would like to be an online poker guide for the experienced online players. I am Lisa Parker and I am a webmaster of this site.

I am very much impressed by your blog: Poker Kingdom and would like to discuss about marketing deals. E.g. I am interested to do Link exchange with your site.

In return I can give you links on http://www.spiderpoker.com/ (Except Home Page). But I am also very anxious to know your ideas!

I hope to get your mail soon, so that we can discuss further!

Oh to be continued? Expecting your updates soon.
I like to share some tips to improve as a better player. A lot of beginner's understand that bluffing is a part of poker, but not exactly how. There's is NO rule that one must bluff a certain amount or at all during a poker game, but many players don't feel like they've won unless they've tried a poker bluff. Bluffs only work in certain situations & against certain people, and if you know a player always calls to the showdown, it is literally impossible to bluff that player. It's better never to bluff than to bluff "just to bluff."
